Detailed videos, quick support

I got the Pilates Encyclopedia Membership recently. The ordering process was straightforward; I just picked the annual plan and checked out. I had a small question about accessing the Ladder Barrel Exercises, so I sent a message to support, and they got back to me within a few hours, which was pretty good. The video tutorials themselves are very detailed, showing modifications and common mistakes, which is super helpful for teaching. The quality of the video and audio is clear. I've primarily been using the Advanced Pilates Repertoire and the Cueing Techniques for Instructors. It's a solid platform for professional development. I can watch it on my tablet too, which is convenient.

Great value for annual plan

I just signed up for the Pilates Encyclopedia Membership after checking out a few options. I went with the annual plan because it offered a significant saving compared to paying monthly. The Reformer Exercise Library is exactly what I needed, and getting all that content for the price felt like a real bargain. It was worth the purchase for sure.

Good content, website could improve

I purchased the annual Pilates Encyclopedia Membership and have been using it for a few weeks now. The content, especially the Mat Pilates Video Tutorials, is truly excellent and well-explained for instructors. However, I found navigating the website a bit clunky at times, making it hard to find specific exercises quickly. Delivery was instant since it's a digital product, which is always nice. Overall, it's a valuable resource, but the user interface could use some refinement to make the experience smoother.

Easy to use for classes

I grabbed the Pilates Encyclopedia Membership to help with my class planning. It's been pretty easy to find stuff. The Lesson Planning Templates are a lifesaver, honestly. Everything is right there when I need it. It just makes my job a lot simpler.

Amazing resource for instructors!

I absolutely love my Pilates Encyclopedia Membership! The Pilates Anatomy Course is fantastic and breaks down complex concepts so well. I've already learned so much that I can apply to my classes. I'm definitely going to continue my subscription. This is such a great tool for any Pilates instructor!

Hey, do they ever do Black Friday sales? Thinking of getting the annual membership but don't want to miss a deal.

M Mark Hernandez 3 weeks ago
Oh yeah, they almost always have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday thing. Usually around November. I got my annual membership 20% off last year during that time.

Keep an eye out in November. They also sometimes do new member discounts or trial offers if you're not trying to wait that long.

How does this compare to Pilates Anytime or Pilatesology? I've used those before.

E Elizabeth T. 3 weeks ago
Pilates Encyclopedia is more in-depth for instructors. Like, really breaks down the anatomy and cueing. Pilates Anytime has a wider variety of classes but maybe less 'teacher training' focus.

I'd say PE is more like a learning library for progression and understanding the mechanics, especially if you're teaching. The others are great for just taking classes. PE feels more like a professional tool.

Is this good for someone just starting out? I've never done Pilates much, mostly yoga.

S Sofia T. 3 days ago
Yeah, totally! They have a whole section on fundamentals and pre-Pilates stuff. I jumped in as a total newbie last year and it was super helpful.

It's good for beginners AND instructors actually. Lots of detailed breakdowns. Don't worry, you'll find plenty to get you started.

Are the teacher training programs legit for getting certified or like, continuing ed credits?

J Jessica H. 1 week ago
For CECs, yes, definitely. I use it for that. As for full certification, you'd want to check which specific programs are accredited, they usually state it clearly.

They're a legitimate resource for continuing education. I think some of the courses offer certificates too but it's more for professional development not like a full Pilates certification on its own afaik.
